Background: Having been a real “bookworm” all my life, it was easy to be drawn into a
job at the library. When the librarian’s job became available in 1998, I started as a
volunteer, then became the “official” librarian a couple years later. Although I do not
have a degree in library science, I enjoy teaching library skills to the elementary grades,
and helping all our students find the books they need or want.
Education: I grew up on a farm about an hour from here, went to high school at
Sherburne-Earlville, and graduated from Baptist Bible College in 1984, having studied
music and Bible teaching. My husband, Craig, and I have 4 grown children, all of whom
graduated from C.C.A.
Favorite Verses: Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord,
plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
II Peter 1:3, “Seeing that this divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to
life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory
and excellence.
